Epic is delaying Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2 Again

The longest season in Fortnite appears to possess received a replacement extension from Epic Games. consistent with leaks, the top date for Chapter 2 Season 1 has reportedly been pushed from Feb. 6 until Feb. 20.

This would mark yet one more delay for Season 2 by Epic, yet nobody knows why Fortnite isn’t transitioning into a replacement season.

It stands to reason that the developers simply don’t have everything ready for Season 2, but this does seem odd, as they’ve had nearly 4 months of Season 1 to organize. The second chapter of Fortnite began on Oct. 15, giving players over 100 days during this season. Epic Games has yet to discuss the matter.

At now, even the foremost diehard fans are starting to grow disgusted Season 1. Fortnite made its name off fresh content and in-game events, and Season 1 has been severely lacking in those areas. Fans keep returning to the sport due to the new weapons, map changes, and new seasons. However, Season 1 looks like it'll never end.

Of course, these are just leaks, so take everything with a grain of salt. Epic Games could still reverse course before the month is up, though it's unlikely.
